Vietnamese Community
        The St. Joseph Church Vietnamese Community was formed in 1975 to minister to the Vietnamese Catholics who live in Polk County.  Their main goals are to support each other in enriching their Catholic faith, adjust and interculturate to the new religious and social environment,  and to maintain the value of their cultural traditions and to support one another when coping with difficult situations.
Member Responsibilities:  All are welcome to join the community.  Since it is a self-supported community, and for its continual function, all members must be willing to give their talents, time and financial support to the community.

Activities:  Participate in all the parish activities.  Celebrate the Eucharist in Vietnamise every second Sunday of each month in the chapel at 9:00 a.m. followed by a time for community fellowship in the Family Life Center, room two.  Rosary and Miriam Devotion every sencond and fourth Thursday of each month at the rotated member's homes at 8:00 p.m.  Benediction and Communion services held each First Friday at 8:00 p.m.  Faith Enrichment and Formation classes every Monday (except the summer months) in the Family Life Center at 7:30 p.m.
